For Sale 2023 R1250ADV TE

Well, this is a turn up and really just an initial exploratory "advert" for my new-to-me bike, the bike of my dreams.

I have barely ridden it since it was delivered to me in mid January. Originally registered 21/10/23. It has covered less then 5000 miles.

Since I got it, I have added numerous farces, mostly from sellers on here. They include:

A fully set of BMW ally boxes that were well used but perfectly serviceable. I have since covered them in Blue Peter style sticky backed plastic and they look pretty good.
Titanium Akropovic exhaust
Up and Back Wunderlich bar risers
Wunderlich screen extended/wind deflector thing
Crud catcher
Carpuride system plus the game changing bracket that raises the unit enabling clear view of the TFT
After market (Touratech or Wunderlich) rear brake lever was already on it
Quick release and hinged Wunderlich black steel headlight guard
TFT screen security surround
Maybe standard but it has a crud catcher thing attached to the centre stand

It was supplied by Bahnstormer Alton with their 2 year Premium Warranty

The Price for the bike with the extras listed:

I paid £15,250 for the bike, without the extras listed.

I would like £15,500 - Sensible offers will be considered and I would like to sell it with the extras.

I also have a twice used (less than 150 miles) Arai Tour X 5 Trail Blue matching colour scheme, fitted with a Cardo Freecom 2X and Pinlock anti fog installed

The Arai helmet with the Cardo : £575

If it doesn't sell, I'll go ahead with my (train ticket booked) Tour de France in June/July and reconsider after that.

I know, still not sure and may well decide to keep it for a few years after the French circuit.

My last (and first) GS was a 1200 bought in 2004, sold on here in ... 2016?? Can't remember. I regretted selling it immediately, even before it left the road.

The financial stars aligned with an itch that needed scratching , retirement and the call of more adventures and this came along at just the right time.

Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, I have so many other things to pass my time with, this seems a bit too much of a bike to be locked away for possibly months at a time. I'll get something else to scratch with, there's no doubt.

It's a corker of a bike, that's for sure. Deserves better than me though.

It has a BMW factory alarm fitted (standard??)

Bike was serviced immediately before delivery to me in late January

The three genuine BMW waterproof inner liners for the tin boxes
A brand new Monimoto tracker (will remove if not required as I will get one for my next bike)
New OptiMate including the installed plug in socket to battery

Think I need to put the price up!
