2026 1390 Super Adventure S Evo

Has it said which offline navigation the TFT is using? They just skip over it.
Not seen anything reported.
It looks good from what I’ve seen . You just download the country you want and off you go with no link to a phone needed.
But the big question will be whether you can plan routes on a phone or other device and send to the bike, or whether it’s just A to B .

Premier Bikes have a few of the ‘S’ and ‘R’ models in stock. Nice looking bikes, huge display, really good switchgear.

They are a big-ass old bike though!

And a ‘24 Super Adventure R NOS for just over £14k

It looks like it is Android Automotive OS (AAOS), which isn't Android Auto. It's a full, built-in operating system for vehicles that runs apps directly , such as navigation, not mirroring your phone. You can go to Google Store and download other Apps if you want to.

Here's a bit about it (apparently KTM haven't got Apple Car Play turned on in it) ...

Its supposedly KTM version of Andorid Automotive..?? what ever that means.
At the minute you cant import routes but this will be added in an update, how long who knows..??
It looks a cracking bike to me, off to the dealers with two mates on Friday to try and sort a deal out for three new EVO's March time.

Be interested in how you go on with the dealers. Friend of mine visited KD motorcycles at Padiham last Friday to try and sort a deal on a new 1390 Super Adventure, got in effect no interest/response from sales staff, eventually badgered them into discussing a part ex valuation on his, with a parting shot of “no deals or bikes until at least April”. Just wondered if this was the general state of affairs with KTM or apathy with this particular dealer?

I'll let you know as It will be my third SAS in four years from the same dealer, loving these bikes after years of GS's

When/if (hedging my bets here!) it breaks down it's off to the IT specialist - not the mechanic/workshop.

Chatting to dealer yesterday, the chap said that KTM are (for now) just not making many bikes. The old world massive stock pile format has gone/is going. They still have people waiting for 390adv's. There isn't be a demo 1390Evo and unlikely to get one soon - this is a huge mistake (even if there are reasons for it) in todays world, where people a). need to test new tech before spending £20k and b). will just buy a different brand to use for next season rather than waiting for the KTM to arrive. There's a new Evo in the showroom, presumably going to a customer, but that bike ought to be a demo bike.

Potteries Motorcycles have a 1390 S. They did have a 1390R but was sold straightaway. They have no demo bikes at all.

Am I the only one who thinks this bike is mind-bogglingly ugly? :nenau
Yes. It's just you. 😂

However, I very don't like the paint scheme of the S. Don't like the gloss black - it always looks cheap. I'd love it if KTM one day did some models with a red and black frame rather than Orange. Just for a change.

Taking the crown from the GS series. The FUGLY crown :ROFLMAO:.

I did see rumour of a 1390 smt a while back, interesting. But no way I can trust KTM again after my experience.
