Yes, I saw that. It will be interesting to see how it changes (and is priced) for the UK market.
It appears about 28bhp, and 40nm of torques for the Indian market if I read correctly.

Did'nt Sachs also use the 750 v twin air cooled suzuki engine in a road bike also;
I knew there was someone on here who liked them; fort nine gave them a paninig on his chanel not so long ago.

I may have been tempted but the 350S is so heavy and I suspect the 500 will be more so.
Same with the Enfield singles, great bikes let down by how hard they are for me to push about

Seems like ages ago that these were around.. and those that still ride them seem to love them.
Is this what Honda calls progress, though, launching a bike with effectively the same spec as something they sold in the last millennium?
When the fashion passes they will be like clackers and cabbage patch kids;; what goes around comes around; as for me; anything that keeps riders riding is a good thing ; age gets all of us.
My FT 500 Ascot circa 1989, imported from Texas by my brother in law, I bought it from him as he hardly used it, great wee bike at the time but a bit iffy with the sprag starter.Orion was a 1.6 Ghia injection, quite nippy but my 6 month old daughter always puked in it, all over her child seat and back seat.
I had just finished my first self build, 3 bed bungalow total build cost £25k not including the price of the land or garage ,drive, them were the days, mid 80’s

Lovely bikes; the chain could do with a coat of looking at;
The old CB250RS single from the early 80s was a faster bike than the CB350 but that isn't what these retros are about, long stroke character is what buyers want these days.
And proberly better handling plus lower weight.
