That's a very competitive price point of just under 7 grand; a seat hight of just under 800mm will also open it up for customers proberbly more so for old gits that need confidence comfort; and dare i say it; more women. The power increase is always welcomed but i thought it may have produced a little more torque with the increase in engine size;; also the 211 kilo weight; hope that's kerb weight ; fully fuelled; all in all i think they may be onto a winner;:beerjug:

Same engine as Vstrom 650 at 645cc but produces 73PS and 64NM torque, both up by 2 over Vstrom 650

Cheers arsey; i was liking the 790mm seat hight; i know that's too tight for you but for me that would help my cronky old knees and leave some flat foot to spare.

I forsee another Suzuki appearing in my garage in the not too distant future :D

Many thanks for finding & sharing the video.

I hired a Suzuki GSX8TT in Gran Canaria for three days and despite it being a relatively 'budget' bike I really enjoyed it. I think these slightly smaller bikes are up where the 'bigger' bikes were a few years ago on performance.

What's not to like for that price. The low seat height will certainly help sell it to. 👍

The Vstrom 800 is my favourite parallel twin-engined bike by far .Utterly perfect fuelling and loads of midrange .

I’ve ridden a Vstrom 650 a few times , such as in the Andes and that too was fabulous .
From the reports so far, this new SV-7GX could be another belter from Suzuki and cheap too .
Dunno why they didn’t fit the TFT from the 800 rather than design a new version which looks a tad cheaper.

My dealer should have their demo bike in soon . Must give it a go though I don’t need another ‘adventure bike ‘.

When has not neading ever stopped you; get yer leg over it and gives all the low down; you've tried a few chinky's so would be in a good comparisons place for the price point; :beerjug:

Nearly put a deposit down, then looked at the accessories available, it doesn't seem to be able to have a center stand, so next, hopefully Honda will come into the middle ground between the transalp and the hornet and build something like it with a center stand on it,
