Sorry to know that. Arthritis is starting to get the better of me. The V85 is probably the better bike, but as the old saying goes 'needs must as the devil drives', and I didn't want anything other than another Guzzi. The v7 feels noticeably smaller, but I'm getting used to it, not that much different than the RE 650 Interceptor in some ways. The seat is certainly more comfortable on the V7. Did you get shut of your Interceptor? I've still got mine and use it occasionally, it's five years old but only done just under 8000 miles.Interesting to see how you get on Al. I had to give up last year after having to dive off my V85TT due to dodgy hips locking up every 30 mins. Despite the V85 being the most comfortable bike I've owned (out of 27) considered a ADV350 just so I could still have a 2 wheel fix, but the seat is wide, maybe a V7 is an option.......and I love a Guzzi
