I’ve just had a Quick Look on the Yamaha website and it looks to be just a new colour scheme.

I then went searching for pannier fitments…and bar risers.

Looks like the Marlboro scheme continues into 2026, joined by the KR speed block version. There were deals to be done in August/September on new bikes - best I saw on a Marlboro was £12500 including the full 'Racer Pack' (full Akra, fairing lower,tinted screen, tail tidy). The less popular Power Grey was available for quite a bit less. No real surprise that they dropped it in lieu of the rather lovely KR speedblock version which uses that versions black frame/forks plus the new paint job & gold wheels. Marlboro still my favourite...

Yeah, the speed block livery is what makes it for me too - proper retro GP vibes. If they nail the details, it’s a really good-looking XSR.
