24K Service Cost ?

Any idea how much a 24,000 service costs?

Mine is booked in for the 24k service at North Oxford BMW next Wednesday.

They couldn't give an exact figure without seeing the service book for my bike, but said it'd be no more than £300, with a loan bike included.

I had the £24k service in jan this year at Chester BMW. It cost £352, including valve clearance check, spark plugs and replacing rear brake pads. They also replace part of the rear brake caliper that had corroded, the steering head bearing, and fork stancions under warranty.

I have just had my 24000 mile service done at Allan Jefferies, 27500 on clock.
The total cost £220.00 due to me pre paying £40 for the next four oil changes.
For the money they did the following.
Plug change,
Air Filter change,
Oil and filter change,
Check valves,
Replace rocker cover gasket,
Good checkover
Checked & reset the OBC but at my request did not alter the programme, Im still running on the mid 2009 setting which I prefer.

With oil the cost would have been in the region of £245

Hi just did my 2 yearly service the other day including valves and reset the OBC, total cost about £50, and I know its done properly.

Shame you dont live nearer and I would of done it for you.

Had the 6k service done today.... £177!!!

So £240 for a biggie sounds bloody good value to me!

It did indeed, but I still think it's a bit steep for what is essentially an oil and filter change.

Mine is due now and have been quoted £500 plus loan bike fee by Vines of Guildford and £450 plus bikes from Vines in Caterham.
