2610 just arrived

Bought a 2610 on Fleabay, it arrived with just a base, car-type power lead and flash card*. Everything works but no manuals, therefore, some help please.

1. Do I need to charge the 2610?
2. Can I use a standard Garmin USB lead (from my Nuvi 360) to download from my PC?
3. Can I buy or do I need to buy software, the flashcard has Europe on it?
4. Is there an on-line manual?
5. Anything else I should know?

I tried your link but could only find the Declaration of Conformity, try this instead.

Well, if you haven’t the install disc/s for the mapping and the unlock code, you can’t change what’s currently on the memory card.

Normally, I would expect a 2610 to come with the mapping disc/s and unlock code, it might be worth chasing up the seller for these items or you will need to borrow an install disk, then get Garmin to send you an update disc, then pay for a new unlock code.

Well, at least you’ll get up to date mapping…
