2610 power plug

Is rectangular, and the Street pilot one is round, can I cut the plug off the Street pilot lead and solder together the wires, so I don`t have to take the bike apart re-traceing the leads ?

I guess you could.

* if you know well which wires are doing what in both cables

* if you don't want to sell you SPIII with the bike cable...

Personally I would just change the cables, as it probably takes about as long to cut the wires, figure out what goes where, solder it together, try to make it waterproof...

But then I'm not The Famous Bakerman
