Not sure about any other people down south but my mum was Pamela West DOB 10.6.32. Her mum was Margaret Sorby DOB 16.11.1900. I think she had a brother John 1898 and her father was Richard Sorby DOB 25.12.1864. I believe AE Sorby DOB 27.7.1859 was Richards Brother.

I have been doing research into my family tree on my Dads side (Walker) and came across Charles Sorby. His Mother was Lydia Walker, my grandads Aunty, my great grandads sister. Charles's grandad is my great great grandad and as we share grandparents Charles is my first cousin (3 removed).
Military history is a hobby of mine so have been looking into Charles when I found out he was killed in the Great War.
It would be great to chat to you if possible about what information you have...Hopefully you will be notified if someone posts on this site!
