Took the GSA for its second test ride today, this time an all dayer to see whats it like in the saddle.
Whilst I was gone I got a price on my Hornet, which was reasonable and the amount I expected.
I went to Box Hill, Get geared for some new gloves, Buty Hill and Arundel.
All in all about 4 hours in the saddle with only about 15 minutes in total off the bike. Once again I was totally impressed by the bike, I could have ridden it for another 4 hours no problem. I've never had a proper fairing before and I took it on the M25 set on comfy and it was great. I know M25 is crap but wanted to test it on a motorway, A roads and round town etc.
May have to order one tomorrow, just gotta get my head round spending that much cash on a bike, Wife will go mad if she knew how much these things are.
Had a beautiful moment near a school when a school mum just pulled out from the junction right across me. Lucky I saw it coming so literally came to a stop before she even pulled out as she never looked to her right ONCE. Even half way across the road she was still looking left and missed me waving at her. I then beeped her and she still totally unaware I was there, and she carried on her way looking over her left shoulder pointing her finger at the 2 kids in the back seat. I should be shocked but am just not, and these are the things us bikers have to pre empt every time we get on the bike.
Just a quick one, When I filled the GSA up with fuel, the range on the computer stayed on 65. I stopped and re started then over an hour it crept up to 160 then went down slightly as I used fuel, I got on the bike later then it crepped up to 220. My Question is, shouldn't the fuel range meter go istantly up to the correct range or does it take time, or as Im thinking this computer or the sensor in the tank is buggered?
Thanks.
