Timpson’s will cut a copy for about £30.
They may have to order in the blank, though, so all not lost.

I got a replacement key supplied from eBay seller named keys cut to code by sending a code from the key with images of both sides of the key. Cost about £30 including key blank.

You can order blanks cheaply from China on eBay and any local key cutting place will cut you another using a blank for £5-£10 with any luck

Send it unlocked and buy knew key blades from BMW - £4 per lock. Easy to then code to your own key….plenty of instruction on you tube. 10 min job max.
