3 day route in France

I have 5 days to use up shortly and I'm thinking 1 day down to Dover and 1 Day back which will leave a three day loop in France starting and finishing at Calais. Can anyone advice on a route as I'm not familiar with this area...cheers

Go Hull - Zeebrugge and have 5 days in France!!

I echo Wapping and recommend the Ardennes.

You can zip down the A26 from Calais to Cambrai, cross country via Chimay & Fumay, ending up in Bouillon. If you are interested in WW1 history, then you have lots of battlefields to look at en route or you can cut down through Belgium via Ypres.

The roads from Bouillon are great in any diection. Head for La-Roche en Ardenne and then you can either stick around the area for 2 days before heading back, or you can push on South of Aachen for the Eifel mountains. Battle of the Bulge country
