3 of us have booked a month's trip to Norway from Scotland this summer (4 days to get there and 3 back - damn you DFDS for killing off the Newcastle routes) with a prime objective of going to Nordkapp.

We're pretty well sorted but I'm still worried about eh feasibility of getting up to Nordkapp in 7 days then spending 14 days riding back down via places like Lofoten etc.

Are we barking up the wrong tree by setting out for Nordkapp and would we be better simply heading to the Arctic circle before heading south again.

We not looking to do a stupid miles in as short a time as possible (cf www.roundthebend.org.uk) but we all really like the idea of hitting the 'milestone' that is Nordkapp.
