30 Yrs Anniversary Vibrations

Hi guys,

Just swapped/traded my 2004 GS 1200 for a newer 2011 1200 GS Anniversary but it seems to vibrate through the bars pegs everything at around 70-80+ mph. Cant remember my old one doing this? Bikes been back in set up etc but feels like coming from gearbox area.

Any ideas or is it just the character of this year/style of GS?

Check the Sump guard , they can come loose , my 30 yr Anni did and it made a right old noise , the bike Revs faster than your old one , and they are a bit noisier with the exhaust flap . Both my TC's vibrated more than the previous models , nothing bad but you do notice it

I think sump guard is okay but defo makes my hands and feet numb after only a short run .
