Like every other special edition they will outdate quickly just get normal one in my opinion.

Had a look at one in the flesh at the Touratech / GS Trophy weekend, they had them on show - have to say I like them :thumb2 Im OK with my 09' GSA for now though.

Looks quite smart. Will probably go and have a look at them next week.

I quite like the standard bike in white too.

Depends on the deal really!

Hmmmm, at £12,815 already for the spec I'm looking at, this takes it over £13k which seems like a hideous amount to be paying for a motorcycle.:rob

And do you really want a bike with a red seat? It worked back in 1980 when the R80 G/S was launched but nowadays.....:eek

I quite like it! But then again I haven't yet seen it in the flesh and there's not much more to it than that. And in all honesty, I'd prefer the 'normal' wheels to spokes too. Probably a toss up between the white and the black then! And maybe a requirement to have the side panels painted.

Whatever happened to that striking mandarin yellow when the 1200 first came out?

Had a look at the 30 year range today ,really liked them!!the Adventure really does it for me ,nice in the white and the red seat looks good in the flesf with black sides .Took a 2010 ADV out for a ride and liked the smoothness and the sporty noise ,looks great from the seat ,I forgot how fantastic they look whilst riding, like a Helicopter Gunship!! So I'm thinking of getting one ,will do the Maths etc.still like the SE ,which is a Fantastic bike now I've got ADV pegs and remus+ Akro pipe .OOOOOh deisions decisions:augie:D:thumb2

I'll be sticking with the SE ;) Saw the range at Pidcocks today.. liked the Red/Black seat on the GSA but I personally thought the plain red one on the 1200 looked.... wrong..

I'll just keep spamming up my special edition ... its nearly there already.... :)

Agree with that...

Question, saw the 30th GS range when at the bike safe show in sheffield, the GS/GSA had spokey wheels where the spokes (we were told) could be replaced without taking the wheel/tyre off do all spokey wheels for the GS/GSA have this same design?

They all do that sir - well mine is a 2004 and it can be done on that..
