I just paid a simlar sum for 28k 1200GS and could not be happier.Its been well looked after, only clues to mileage are worn hand grips and foot pegs.The way I figure it,I will be a low mileage user, so in three years it may be showing 36k, not bad for a five year old gs.

Sold my 21k 04 1200GS for 6750. Not exactly a big market out their for used 12GS's with 20k+.

Assuming it has ABS, I'd say its worth 6250 private.

My 15K 04 is currently for sale for £6900. I'd expect to pay quite a bit less for a 30K+ bike.
