35 sleeps to go...for the third time

Wait until they change the oil at 600 mile 1st service, that's when it changed for most people if you read the gearchange thread

Had my 600 mile service done just over a week ago and no change to the gear change :)

Nutty - you are going to have to post a pick of the "new" engine casing - folks are going to get paronoid as to which they have :augie

.........I can already see a 6 page thread entitled "Show me your engine casing" :blast

Lol. I just logged on to ask Nutty to post a ........ Oh never mind!

Tbh my 1st bike the gearbox was clunky and the clutched dragged, i lived with it and the quickshifter takes away a lot of the clunky gearbox issue and that's now fitted to my new bike, however my panniers do fit my new bike and the frame is straight so that's a good start.

Im shitting bricks i hope i dont have issues as others, my 2nd bike has only done 1 mile since it arrived in November.

What's been the issues with your second bikes !

Bring it to Pidcock's on Saturday and I'll run it in for you while I wait for delivery of my new one - :P

It refuses to leave the garage in the rain :) but it will be well run in for boppard.

I reckon it's rider error. So I will put my money where my mouth is....

I will swap my 2013 GS with a tidy 5000 or so miles on the clock, and a snickety-slick gear change for your <250 mile 2014 GS with clunky gearbox, at no charge to you.
