Hi Boys & Girls

I'm delighted to have been able to buy the majority of the BMW Off Road Skills fleet that some of you may have previously taken up a Welsh mountain.

We have 9 x G650 GSs, 7 x F650 GSs, 8 x F800 GSs, 8 x R1200GSs and finally 6 x R1200 GS Adventures all arriving early next week and then to be distributed between our two branches.

To show your initial interest, please email us on [email protected]
expressing which model and at which branch you'd like to see it at and we'll do the rest.

Merry Christmas & Best Regards
Paul

Paul's got 30+ bikes for sale - you want pictures of them all? :comfort
Be best to email him as he's stated - I'm sure he can send you detailed photos of the bike you're interested in before you go and view it.........

BTW - decent prices IMO even if they have been "used".

Well ok then the least damaged F800 and the least damaged R1200gs. The adventure is out for me due to my restricted height/budget. I do take your point though would be difficult to put 30 photos on here, plus it would probably take 3 months to resize them all.. Bah foiled again!!!!!!

They represent good value and if I wanted a bike to commute on, I'd buy one

Are there any Husky's?

No Husky's I'm affraid, think Si might be selling those we saw himself. But they did look good and has got us thinking about Husky in the future.

Forgot to say, 3 x G650GSs, 1 x F800GS, 2 x R1200GSs & 1 x R1200GS Adv have already been sold and they only touched down yesterday.

Almost sold out within 48 hours

Ok, it's now easier to say what's available.

3 x G650 GSs, 4 x F650GSs, 0 x F800GSs, 0 x R1200GSs & 0 x R1200GSAs

So hurry if you want one of those 650s or call us to go on the reserve list in case anyone fails to proceed with their order.

Cheers
Paul

Which is precisely what BMW Park Lane are doing. But what the feck they are selling off road bikes for is beyond me. Flagship show room I suppose.

Erm..............its because they're owned by BMW, not a franchised dealer. Wouldn't be fair to have a level playing field now would it :blast

Lol. It would be interesting to see the books for that dealership. Can't imagine it breaks even.

Why u complaining ?

They were a £1k cheaper than what I paid pinky tiff. Should have gone to them myself :blast

That's it, all gone

Hi folks

Thanks to all of you (including mark2jag) who have shown an interest in the ORS bikes and congratulations to those who didn't hesitate in putting their deposit down and securing one of these machines.

An F650GS was sold today which represented the last bike available, so all 38 bikes have now been spoken for, maybe we'll see you next year for the next batch?

Have a very Happy Christmas from all of us at Bahnstormer Alton & Thames Valley.

So does Bahnstormers not read emails then???? Sent an email about the bike you sent me details of, saying basically yes thats fine I'll have that subject to your Dutch buyer giving me an offer which is a bit better than your own price wise. Why did I not put a deposit down, well it was my honest belief that your Dutch buyer might contact me this side of the miillenium........... Have you got the email??? NO, well what a surprise. Oh and the Dutch buyer has taken so long to get back to me all the ORS bikes have now gone, WOW double shock.. Dont lay the blame at MY door. If your Dutch buyer had pulled his finger out and got me a valuation when John said he would then I wouldnt be writing this now.

Oh and by the way If your Dutch buyer does ever manage to be contacted I would still very much like a valuation on my current bike. Now, shall i send this twice so it doesnt get "LOST"

And a merry Xmas to you all too..

P.S. Am i still on the reserve list??? Unlikely that it happens that someone backs out from buying a 11 plate few thousand mile old R1200GS.

P.P.S Left you a comment on your blog. I see you've kindly deleted it. Truth hurts doesnt it. probably why it was deleted. Wouldnt want anyone to see Bahnstormers in a bad light would we now!!!!!!

Please dont get me wrong, I've had some bloody good service from Bahnstormers but losing my email and the buyer not contacting me are not Bahnstormers absolute highlights.

Breathe deeply and....................... Relax...........

Pick up the phone, discuss your requirements, put a deposit down and then sort out the fine details of whether you sell your old bike to Bahnstormers or their Dutch contact or privately.................springs to mind:blast

These bikes aren't going to hang araound for you to weigh up your options of a few hundred quid......................at £5995 for a 2011 12GS how long have you got or expect?

Put your money down and sort out the fine details after Xmas, is the correct route:thumb

Bad mouthing Bahnstormers isn't going to help, they could have 76 ex ORS school bikes, if they could get that many
