Help and suggestions please...

4 days in April...

Day 1 ... Chester to Reims, to show a friend the circuit ... Big miles day ( 500 ) ......http://www.circuitsofthepast.nl/en-US/reims.... Suggestions on place to stay near the circuit...

Rest of trip is flexible ..... Any ideas on roads, places to stay and some fantastic scenery.. ( like taking pics ) :thumb2

plenty of cheap and expensive accomodation in and around Reims, there is an F1 and a Premiere classe very close to the circuit, cheap and cheerfull if thats what you need. from Reims its a short hop to verdun if you are into war history and that sort of thing. with ref to route, it depends how quick you want to get there, quickest would be A51, M6, M42, M40, M25, M20 if going from folkstone or Dover, and the A26 Peage down to Reims, very boring but the quickest.

This where you are going.

A circuit from Reims, up through the Ardennes, then back via Luxembourg would make a nice trip you could easily fit in. Great roads in both places, also lots of places to stay if you take more than a day to do it.

Thanks

I've been down to the circuit a couple of times... It's got a great feeling... Very atmospheric ... Yes route down is a quick blast... Motorways ...

Was thinking of a loop Calais , Reims , Tours , Le Mans then back up to Calais ... But with nice, interesting ... Not main roads.... Suggestions please.

Not far from Two Wheel moorings, lovely spot and a great place to stay.

Even better if you even have a passing interest in WW1, or even if you don't, I sort of developed one the first time we stayed.

And what happened to the ability to display an image in a post?

It seems only video's can be embedded here now

I wonder who this is ? :thumb:D:D
