29th of feb this year i picked up my second bmw after a year on the ktm990adv i decided i fancy'd going back to a GS but this time i wanted the GSA
i was very lucky to pick up a total minter
i was kind of expecting to feel a bit underwhelmed after the ktm but the GSA suprised me by show just how much fun it could be and it didnt take much time for us to find the odd wee adventurous rides like this one in the snow we had
now as you all know distance really is where these bikes excell
so i thought i would have a good day out to gell with it proper like
so i got up early one sat and rode over to pembrokshire to meet some pals who were away for the weekend over there
met them for lunch
then down to lymmington in dorset for a coffee with annette and her better half
and then off home to finish the day with another 720mils on the clock
another good couple of day riding was going back to wetherby with a mate who's bike i had rebuilt after he wrecked himself and the bike last year
going up on the sat
coming home on the sunday was a great ride,
across the humber bridge
we didnt touch any motorways all the way home, down through the lincolnshire wolds, via cambridge, thetford etc
we had a great day out with with the naaarfolk boys and gals
then after brekkie at the ace i found myself on sailsbury plain taking it off road for the first time
and it was fantastic
really supprising how well it deals with the off road stuff and KTM could learn a lot from how good the fueling is on the GSs
well the upshot of all this blethering is since feb we have coverd 5175miles and im loving every minute of it
great bike
