4 Points of Ireland Spin 21/22 June

Anyone interested in joining me on a spin?

East / North /West/ South
Roughly planned for 21/22 June all being well,
The round trip is about 1600km.


Tue 21st meet up and leave Monaghan @ 6/7,8am
head East (Newtonards)..... Burr point
then head North... Malin Head arrive around 11/12am
then West,with stopping for a bite of lunch in letterkenny and then on fully refreshed to Slea Head... (camp somewhere quite rough & Ready... bring yer own tent!!)

Wednesday morning make a early start for ring of kerry route
(roads are usually empty early on) to finish South (Mizen Head)
...then home....for late afternoon or early evening wednesday
The round trip is about 1600km.

I will post estimated meeting times later if anyone wants to join or meet

this is NOTHING FORMAL or highly Organised just a wee GS spin round the Island of ireland for the longest day

I have also planned a run for this day, see my post in this section 'Open Invite Run' but its not anywhere near the mileage or duration of this run. Maybe if things work out we could meet somewhere to join up for a while. Just a thought if youre interested?

I’m planning to leave Monaghan early and tick off East and North points before 12am and make for Letterkenny and lunch for @2pm

Finally to set up tea and tent in Dingle West point before dark
I really want to do the Kerry to Corky Mountain run early next morning when the ring is free of tour buses... that's the highlight of the run for me.

So timing and meeting up may be a bit tight but could be done.

It would be good if we can meet up somewhere on route,

Let’s keep in touch and see if it suits, we should be able to join or combime part of the runs.
