It was Brilliant!,

I would reccomend this for everyone
Thanks Kevin + Dakar
If your thinking of trying this run Just go do it you'll not be disappointed!
I'll post a few pictures & details later,
Just a few words fo you if your going to do this
I think on this run moving in a group of 2-3-4 works out best any larger a group could be awkard possibly dangerous if the skill level is varied as picking up the pace and handelling the twisties could prove awkward: I say this because I know I nearly sh@t myself

a couple of times on a few bends that developed into twisties and thank god no one was behind me
Departing Early Saturday & returning Sunday evening is perfect timimg for this trip!
by luck we decided to go East > North > West > South; with taking kerry cork route early in the morning from Slea head to Mizen head (6am start)
this couldn't have worked out better
THE RIDE FROM KERRY TO CORK WAS AMAZING !
The most memorable part of the run!....not one vehicle on the road or mountain passes on sunday morning from kerry to cork .. (why i ask?

)
....left Slea head 6am & arrived Mizen Head about 9.30 am ...stopping for a while to refuel, coffee, helped out a couple of early morning power-rangers
with a puncture on one of their blades, ....(picked up a piece of bone in their tyre and were waiting since 5am for help)
1665 km covered left Monaghan @ 7am sat + returned @ 7.30pm Sunday
about 24 riding hours including refuel and coffe & BREAKS
+ camp time should be allowed to enjoy the run
!

Make sure you have recovery or 24hour assist policy cover!
Take Puncture repair kits
Bring a big bottle of Miggy repellent and a head net
Bring comfortable Ear Plugs, Water & Nurophen,

Bring a cheap fast errect tent and keep the damm insect door zipped up when your putting up the tent

By luck there wasnt a chance for us to pick up a bevvy

for the camp as i was SO glad of a Clear Head the next morning!

Depending on sleep time and camp time this trip can be very tiring
If you going to do this run ... just be aware of tiredness and making mistakes on the way back home,
dont be scared to pull off the road and rest in a ditch for a while to recharge
PS
The GSA was brilliant.. a Mile cruncher never missed a beat, you really appreciate the big fuel tank and range.
