well im glad this small milestone was reached out on a ride rather than on the commute. but as the title says it clicked over today so a wash andd polish after rebuilding the startermotor as it was not hp.

Mine clicked past 40k on the way home from Turkey two weeks ago after buying it last June with 23k on it. Funny the small things that make us tossers happy.
