very good, it took me a few minutes to work that one out.

:D

the isle of whithorn, a peninsula south of stranraer, is a crackin ride out to the cafe at the end of a wee dirt track. Also try the queens road in the galloway forest park, great twisties.
hope it's dry for ya :thumb

+ 1 for the queens highway , then keep going to St John's town of Dalry , from there over to Thornhill via Moniaive then the icing on the cake , the Dalveen pass ,, rip the tits off it up through there and over to Elvanfoot :thumb:thumb , you won't be dissapointed . from there head back through Wanlockhead and the Mennock Pass , just bimble back and enjoy the scenery, take a few pics and let the adrennaline settle back down :thumb:thumb it's one of my favourite wee loops that one , enjoy :D:D

if you prefer a longer rute i'll post one up that takes you back through the Galloway forrest park starting and finishing in Newton Stewart

here you go ,, try this wee puppy out ,, it's a belter :thumb2:thumb2

in fact , i'll take a run round it the morra and post up some pics

The A712, Newton Stewart to New Galloway is full of pot holes and covered in gravel after the bad weather...... take it easy.

You might like a wee run out to Portpatrick the wee village near Stranraer lunch in the Crown hotel is always good n they are bike friendly (big dave ane o the guys that runs the bar is a biker .This is my local patch and the routes that have been posted up for you are all good ones. You will need to be a wee bit careful wi the forward vision as some of the roads roud here are in a real mess wi farm rubbish and the results of the wee bit fresh weather we have been having this winter. i will pm you my mob any probs give me a ring
