5 Days on the new GS

Had the '09 GS with all the options for 5 days .Was'nt to sure about the comute in to London on it but its now felling good ,the extra height is great in the traffic.I thought it would be to big for me at
5'9" but it seems to have gotten smaller!
If I bought one I would not have the ESa as I cant feel that much difference on the daily comute.Don't like the vibration ,and I would change the bars .
Other than that I'm getting to like it (but not as much as my F800s) .
I would have to have both .

I said that about the ESA, until I had mrs dxtans on the back with full luggage, then I experimented with the settings.., what a difference !

Thats good to know.
Day 7 and I'm starting to flick her around .It drops in very well on the skiny tyres and has good levels of grip.Fuel consumption is the next thing to check out .

Looks like I've got her for another week at least.
At this rate Ill be taking it to Italy in July instead of the f800.

....Other than that I'm getting to like it (but not as much as my F800s)....

you like your f800s better!....... im coming off a f800s aswell and i must say i hate the damn thing!

you'll find that the 1200 is:

more comfortable
more flickable
cult following (way of life)
a torque band as wide as the m1
and just a better bike full stop

ive gone with the adventure with a gs low seat (not the usual towering gs rider ). and its coming in 6 days, so well chuffed and am getting ready to wipe my dick all over it

trust me get out there and lean, lean and lean some more and you'll LoVe it!

Well ,what can I say ,its a bit like the 4x4 of the bike world ,I really like the towering riding position and so far its been a lot better than I thought ,it handles well enough to out corner quite a few sports bikes as well.So going into week 2 all is well ,so far.

good to here mate, and i know what you mean by the 4x4 thing... thats why i only drive defenders theres just something about landys and gs's.... there animals in there own right.
