5 minute seat rod mod

I read on here about the possibility of the front seat mounting rod shorting the battery terminals so during yesterdays monsoon I spent five minutes in the garage whipped the seat off removed the seat mounting rod cut a length of 3/8th id fuel pipe slipped it on to the seat rod refitted it and put the seat back took me longer to type this than to do it hth

or wrap it in insulating tape - You'd obviously need a few layers....
