Can some wise person tell me how to edit a video residing on an iPad in order to save just the relevant bit I want to keep, possibly as another video?

Save just a clip out of a 5 minute video on ipad

Open the selected video.
Click the edit button.
Slide the frame selectors at the bottom of the video to create the desired clip.
Click Done.
Save video or save as new clip.
