For sale is my little used Garmin Fenix 8 51mm Amoled sports watch

Purchased by myself from John Lewis 23/06/26 for £728

Used this for a few runs, bike rides & open water swims.

Super bright and clear display. Nav screen mapping is awesome as can be seen with a pic of the local map on a recent trip to Applecross in Scotland. Think you can even subscribed to even better mapping if needed to.

Realised I prefer my 51mm Fenix 7, this is just a little to smart for me aka I’m old 😂

Comes supplied in its original box

£550 ono

Collection/meet up Herts

Any questions, ping a PM over 👍

I have a Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. I was looking to upgrade to the 8 AMOLED.

Any reason the 51mm F7 is your pick? Do you prefer the MIP display?

Hi Mate,
No I love this new display is super clear and precise esp versus the older style. But it’s just a bit too much tech for me I’m afraid.

Don’t use any of the slick features available on it. Didn’t sell the 7 specifically in case it didn’t suit. Purchased on a bit of whim really, who doesn’t like shiny new tech 😂🤦‍♂️

Has this got anything to do with the Garmin Fenix 9 being released tomorrow 🤣

As tempting as it would be as I’ve had Fenix watches since the model 3, I never buy them until they have been out for at least 18 months. If only to allow for the silly prices asked at launch to settle down.

😂
Didn’t even know another was being launched until you said it

I thought that but didn't want to say anything :ROFLMAO:

i only know because i was torn between the new Samsung Ultra 2 and Garmin Fenix.
I realised the F9 was out tomorrow but didnt wait and got the Samsung.

I should have waited, the Samsung is ok but now ive read the specs for the F9 i want that lol
the one i like though is £1200 a lot of money.

I have a fenix 6 and that does about 20 things more than I could ever use. The capabilities of these devices is truly incredible.

I can't imagine how competent the 8 must be.

Haha fair enough!

I will be selling my F7 SS 47mm soon :D

Yes they’re amazing, but apart from using as my daily watch.
I literally only use it for my open water swimming, Triathlons, cycling & navigation for ultras and creating routes for my trail runs etc

I literally never have a need for all the ‘smart watch’ live messaging bollox . They all get turned off upon purchase.
