This is the book I picked up via the Amazon.

I don’t yet know if it’s a shortened reprint of what peaked at Michelin’s ‘100 routes in France’ book from several years ago or something different.

Anyway, it’s arrived and it has the GPS files, which will save me carving them into MapSource, which is what I did last time around.

From a very quick look this morning, some (maybe all?) of the routes in the book do cross over with the routes in the map

What the book does do is expand (in French) on things to see and do on the route. Whist it’s in foreign, you can generally work out what it is the publisher is suggesting.

The QR code download of a GPX file from the book is not quite so friendly, as it is through the map. The book seems to insist on routing the GPX download through an app called, Liberty Rider, which seems to be entirely in French, not surprisingly. I got there in the end by tapping around in the app, having deleted it once. There does not seem to be an option to just download the GPX file, without going through Liberty Rider. It’s not the end of the world, as Liberty Rider can (I think) also be used for navigation. I’d rather though, do without it. I guess Liberty Rider teamed up with Michelin, somehow?
