I, as those of you who know me, am not a mechanic. So...
Bike starts and idles correctly, c. just over a 1000rpm.
left hand cylinder heats up almost instantly and the bike is running "lumpy".
I recently had a stick coil replaced on that left hand side as there was no spark.
As the engine gets hotter, the idle speed increases to around 2000rpm.
There is a distinct petrol fume from the exhaust as the bike is running.
My thoughts are to check injectors are working... Can I swap sides to check the heat issue doesn't transfer to the RHS cylinder head?
then check valve clearances and carry out throttle body balance,
but before I go into all of that I wanted to check incase there was something else I was missing.
