I'm getting the 60 KM service performed this week. Normally I do my own service but the need for a rear tire, a warranty recall and and the additional maintenance I want done prompted me to get it done @ the shop.
Please note that in addition to the regular service the alternator belt is replaced. Upon inspection the techs said it definitely needed it, so FYI, don't skip this service.
I'll post my final OTD costs for this service since it will be significantly more than normal, esp. with the tire. I'll provide a breakdown to give you a proper idea of what you are looking at.
The list so far:
1.Lubing suspension pivots
2. Check/change wheel bearings and final drive bearings.
3. Clutch and transmission fluids
4. Re-grease everything
5. torque/check frame/fork bolts
6. Change final drive fluid
Shocks are good plus I've got a new set (thx Ebay, $140 US w/900 miles on them) ready to go on @ a moments notice when a rebuild on the originals is required.
Can you think of any other maintenance, outside the norm, that should be performed? Thanks.
