60 day beta - timely end

Done all my panning in a Mapsource beta only to have the, "beta's last for 60 days only" dialogue as I was about to upload it to my 2610!

Fortunately Garmin kindly have code inplace that then offers to install the next beta and so no back tracking was necessary.

There didn't appear to be an option to go to a proper release though. I guess Garmin think that if I'm willing to try one beta, I'll be up for the next....

Just thinking out loud (don't knock it, it means I'm thinking!)

I got an error when I loaded MapSource 6.6.2 Beta, but a quick trade of e-mails with Garmin sorted it.

I'm getting 'there is no updated update for Mapsource'

Tossers....why couldn't they let it revert or at least get the next one in place......I'm going to ing well have to uninstall it now and install a fresh older version now...no time to do the email exchange 'cos I use it every day

Mind you I have noticed a problem when searching for Cities it doesn't seem to list them even though they are on the maps.
