its the first time i have used the poi loader, how many poi can the csx hold?, the reason i ask is... i have a mapsource file containing 79 waypoints, hit save as and save them in my p.o.i file as gpx, use poi loader which tells me 79 have been loaded but when i go to the unit only 51 are in my custom poi folder, i have searched the site but cant find the answer...any ideas..thanks

been experimenting, if i clear the custom poi from the unit, goto mapsource on my puter and press send to device the 79 poi's go to the unit to waypoints if i then goto mapsource press recieve from device all 79 are shown in a mapsource file, if i save as .gpx then use poi loader, i am told all 79 have been loaded but when i count them on the unit there are only 51...can somebody give me a clue...just used the poi loader to put them on the zumo an only 51 have moved across....eh, am stumped

more experimenting, with the zumo this time, got camping sites eire off this site .gdb opened in mapsource saved as gpx into my poi file used poi loader to load my 79 points plus camping sites..total of 206..poi loader says success i have loaded 206 to the zumo..in extras find two files only 51 waypoints in each....grrrrr.what is wrong..getting annoyed to the point of f#####ing them both out the windy

after hours of searching i have discovered that only the poi in your local area show up..if you want to see the rest you have to turn the gps off set the location to another place and watch the poi change to that area

You just use the pointer to change the location.

I have several hundred POI's in my CSX and to see the ones for a specific area I select the option to Change Reference from the menu.
