650 Interceptor/Continental GT Tyres

I'm not wanting to start a tyre thread, BUT, has anyone any experience of the Indian made CEAT tyres fitted to the latest models? Looks like RE have dumped Pirelli. CEAT are not a brand I'm familiar with.

I thought they may have had a connection with Pirelli. I've had three test rides on Interceptors fitted with them. They felt OK, but it was dry and I didn't push the bike too hard. I'm curious as to how well they will perform on wet roads.

I've pirelli phantom sportscomp on my Interceptor. I'd heard it was a covid related supply issue with them rather than them getting dumped by RE?

Hopefully they won't turn out to be some sort of Teflon Non Grip when it starts to rain.
