I've looked for this but unable to find anything relevant.
I have a 15 month old 650. During the 12 month service it was noted there was wear on the lower suspension fixing and this would need replacing under warranty (the whole suspension unit). Took it in Monday morning and later had a call stating the swing arm has also worn and will need replacing (i'm not the slimest of Tossers but wouldnt think this the reason?). Is this a known problem and should it have happened after only 4K miles?
The dealer is having problems getting a spare swingarm so I have the loan 650, when I had a loan bike they charged £6 for the insurance for the day, if they try charging me £6/day for the time i have it now (probably gonna be a week) should I refuse to pay this as it is warranty work? TBH the bike has spent 90% of its time in my locked garage
