ARB (The 4X4 After Market guys) sell IPF 65W H1 Xenon High Performance bulbs.
The spec is
-H1 12V 65W
-Optical output equivelance 150W
-Uses an exotic gas mix at high pressure
-High Output with low amp draw
-Suitable for use in factory head lamps with resinreflector lenses
-Compatible with most factory wiring looms.
There is no requirement for ballast resistors or power supplies.
Having just bought a Suzuki DRZ400E whith its bog standard head lamp and 55W bulb which lights up the world for miles in front with a good spread, it really does illustrate just how bad the 1150 GSA with its 4 lamps really are.
My question is the wiring and lamp reflectors on the GSA up to the bulbs above, in the bush I really would like not to have to rely on spots/fogs?
