660 and Scala G4 powerset problem

Anyone give me any ideas on the following.

Two Scala G4 headsets paired to each other and capable on talking to each other.

Zumo 660 media player can be heard by first Scala but not the other.

Now with the bluetooth Zumo connected to the Scala and the second (pillion) scala connected to the first how come this doesnt work?

The Zumo will only pair with one audio device, ie the first Scala G4 and pairs to the audio input and output of that. The second Scala is paired to the audio input and output of the first and vice versa but won't recieve sound which is received by the first device from the Zumo.

I think I may have confused you with a badly written question.

I am using the media player in the Zumo not an external audio source.

So I thought the way it works (for media or directional instructions) is

Zumo bluetooth connection to Scala G4 rider

Scala rider G4 paired connection to Scala pillion G4

So both G4's should hear anything that comes out of the Scala?

You didn't. What I said still holds good. It aint' gonna work. To do so, you'd need to enable the Scala which is paired with the Zumo to convert its input from the Zumo into output to the second Scala when in fact the only thing it will output to the second Scala is voice from its microphone.

Exactly right. The pillion G4 can not receive audio output from the zumo.
You will note that receiving a phone call will cut communication with your pillion.

Not sure if the new G9 any different either?

Same with the BWM bluetooth coms. Zumo only communicates and pairs with one of the sets. Should have stayed with the starcom but the trouble was the missus kept getting off the bike and walking away still plugged in FFS.

This is the only thing that pees me off with the G4
Had the Scala team set before and that used to pass the audio from the Garmin thru to Mrs Snowman, Handy if I was away with the fairies a quick tap on the shoulder used to work wonders to take the right turning
