660 GPS error

I have read quite a few posts about GPS problems with the 660. I have firmware 3.30 and thought mine was ok until yesterday when my device took about 15 mins (10 miles) riding before it picked up a GPS signal and started to work. Is this a fault I need to be worried about or just a 'gremlin' in the software. Thanks, Sam

How long had it been off? If it has been off for some time it will have lost the almanac of where the satellites are and will need to download that.
Don’t know about the Zumo 660 but all the GPS’s I’ve had prefer to be stationary when finding a fix, and on top of all that if the satellite constellation was a bit sparse where you were it all gets that much worse (it happens).

So, as Mr Wapping says, try it again, but don’t leave it too long and try getting a lock before you move off.
