Hi all
New to this sat-nav for bikes stuff, is there a way that i can hook my ipod up to my 660. Rode back from wales other day, and wanted to listen to ipod, so i had plugged it in to the speaker lead coming from my crash helmet. But then i could get phone calls that i had. also what is the cable that comes off cradle with the sort of scart/hdmi type of end on it for...?

Bloody  me.

Sat-nav works though.:thumb2

You can't plug the iPod into the Zumo but you can load your music on the micro SD and play your music from the 660. The scarty-like plug is for connecting to Autocom etc (I think)

I havn't found a nice bit of sw which converts the MPA's to MP3's for the Zumo. It'd be nice to add it like a device to iTunes and sync without creating duplicate fiels

The mini-USB type-B connector is for an optional traffic receiver.

I see, i knew i could count on you lot. Reading about this sd card thing, people say it makes the satnav run slow.
Thanks fella`s.:thumb2

Limit the numvber of files to about a dozen per folder. That way it doesn't slow it down.
I've been putting all the tracks on an album into separate folders and it works great.
You can easily search and select albums on the move without any distraction from the road.

Remember to populate the artist, album and genre on the file properties else the zumo can't find the tracks.

Make sure this is either connected to a GTM-12 antenna or seal it of nice and water tight or you will keep getting-

'The USB is connected to the wrong port'

displayed:mad:

As for music I found it quicker and easier to rip albums on media player and sync to the Sd card direct, doesn't slow it down and loads of space on a 4Gb card:thumb2
