Whilst riding back home yesterday (M25) I was at a constant speed of around 70mph for about 10 mins or so (using a grip mounted cruise control thingy!) I noticed that the number 6 (6th gear) on the instrument panel was flashing on and off! So I decelerated for a while then sped back up and it stopped doing this!
Is this an inbuilt advisory thing (telling me to change gear downwards) or have I just got a gremlin somewhere????
