Ok, hoping someone here may be able to assist me.
Background- my 2 x Border Terriers are knocking on now, 16 & 15yrs. Their eye sight & hearing is failing & consequently they’re very cautious & walk very very slowly now. It takes hours to take them for a walk.
So I’ve bought a collapsible trolley, the type you’d take to festivals or outdoor shows. The idea being I could take them quickly out to the local park then let them have a roam/mooch & bring them home again. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a collapsible trolley with pneumatic wheels & the hard plastic wheels on the one I bought offer no suspension whatsoever. First trip out the dogs were not happy. So I’m looking for, but haven’t found yet 4 x pneumatic wheels/tyres measuring 7” diameter (wheel & tyre combined) that are no more than 1.5” wide with a spindle size of 3/8”.
Any advice help would be much appreciated & twa dogs will be happier too.

Thanks Sye, I reckoned to have trawled Amazon & the like. I think one of these might just do.

Thanks Vern & Lodgey, I’ll take a look at machine mart but so many of the pneumatic wheels I’ve seen online are larger than 7”. Wheelbarrow wheels are 8” plus so won’t fit. Thanks anyway

You'll need four ! :D

I did the same when one of ours had a sudden spinal collapse, useless from the shoulders back. She loved it, especially with me holding her back legs up with a homemade T bar and winter jacket contraption, running along behind her at full tilt. The things we do eh ! We lost her eventually though, only 3 years old.

Would a soft foam insert in the truck work as a cushion? May be an alternative to pneumatic wheels.

Hi Wag, I am looking for a suitable foam-like insert as well as the wheels so thanks…

You can get pneumatic jockey wheels for caravans. They look very similar?

Ha! I’m looking for some cushions/padding for the bottom of the cart before their next outing. I’ll post a piccy then. Thanks…

Per your request @Skippy. Bramble & Dylan are not sure about it at all but the pneumatic wheels certainly help with suspension. Just need to organise them a suitable soft bed now…
