Been there
Done that
NO difference
Unit returned to Garmin for exchange
Refurbished unit parcel 'arrived' but parcel from Garmin carried by UPS found to be empty except for the packing note... :blast

Some &%£* pinched the unit.
Garmin & UPS investigating.
It's just not my day.

Moved.

Bizarre coincidence about the shutting down of these units which now also include the 700 series.

It does make one wonder if the same programmer is 'at work' here? :nenau

Good news [for me!] Garmin replaced by duff 700 and the pinched replacement.
I won't be using UPS anytime soon- not only are there some questionable 'shenanigans' as to what happened with the replacement unit which disappeared but today they just left the second replacement on a communal table in my block of flats without bothering to ring my bell nor obtain a signature...:blast

Anyways, Garmin, :thumb2 Thank you.

I have no way of knowinng Pita, but not having a 750 'i' model, I do not know.
The mount issue was ruled out
The bushings were ruled out
That left either a unit or firmware fault but I'll never know.
Fingers crossed this one does ok

I meant a 700i or 750i.
Everyone knows it is NOT the pins.
It is NOT the bushings.
That leaves either the unit OR the firmware/software.
Which we know IS the issue.
I’m considering sending both of ours back and replacing them with standard 700’s and Mini 2’s.
