80 TICKETS reported in Salisbury Journal given out to OFF ROADERS that are off the BYWAYS so be carefull.

I think that these are maybe 4x4 drivers as a lot of damage has taken place over the past month, since I was last out there.

A crew from VPTRF have been down there this weekend.
I've got to give Slider a call at 2100hrs about a Peaks ride so I'll ask if he saw any MPs or Plod.....
Looks like they had a good weekends worth of weather.

Local Police and Peak Rangers "Talked" to quite a few on trails week before last, in Derbyshire Peaks areas
17 4x4s and the rest bikes "Some were not registered" - "some were not legal"
"Most behaved and did not mind too much the stop" ( hopefully they were all the legal ones)
Quite a few trails being sorted out in January, I have heard - dont hold yer breath - this stoping and data will probebly be used at the hearings to shut some more down
Watch what yer doing if yer a good lad/lass
Get it regestered /taxed/tested/ and behave a little more curtiously,and ride on what you know is legal - if yer a w**ker (they wont be reading this will they)

Unfortunately it seems that they stop them on the illegal bits, then use the evidence to make even more lanes illegal. This makes no sense to me.

We've all traversed the odd questionable lane. I think we now need to be very very careful that we stick to legal stuff as Mick says.
