800/850 GSA

Firstly sorry if this is the wrong section. My question is are the factory fitted pannier frames the same on the new 850 as on the older 800?

No , brother in law fitted f850gsa pannier frames on his f850 gs and they were very similar to those on my r1200 gsa lc apart from the front brackets and my r1200 gsa panniers fitted onto the 850 rails.

I also own a 2017 model f800 gsa and the rails are totally different from the 850 ones and the panniers are different
