No I won't, to put it simply, I can't afford one...

Bad people pushing me to the dark side...

I have an 09 800gs which i've had from new and I love. Some of my 'mates' have 1200 Advs and keep going on and on about themsleep

Today I was 'persuaded' to ride one (Standard 1200 not Adv - little legs)

I was only on it for about 20 mins so just an initial impression really:

Feels very much the same in terms of ergos, i.e. like as GS
A bit more low down power, different vibes. I was expecting it to feel more comfortable than the 800, but even on Comfort it felt pretty much the same.

A couple of surprises/ disappointments - It had the low seat on and my legs were much more cramped than on the 800 (which also has a low seat) and it felt a bit, how do I say this...

Think i'll be sticking with my 800 for a while yet
