As part of the gentle fettle my GS is getting, I want to do something about the seat. The current one has been recovered in uninspiring dark gray, and the foam is the sort that feels comfy at first but soon compresses.

I'm quite taken by the Siebenrock offering - original black & yellow with logo, 2" higher to ease the knees, newer foam to improve the long distance comfort. All this for £250 delivered.

Has anyone tried one, and is there a better source than direct from the Siebenrock website?

Thanks, Jon

Siebenrock.....Rock! The seats are very good and look great. Buy one you won't regret it :thumby: I've had loads from them and the quality it 100%.

Sounds good, thanks. I just need to decide on the height - standard looks to be 33.5", another 2" is getting up towards trail bike levels - I have an XR400 that, at 36.6", is a bit tippy toes for my 32" inside leg.

Siebenrock usually offer the foam and cover separately which can save a bit, but they are not an easy cover to fit .
Getting the tension right at the bottom of the swan neck is a pig and you you are best with a HD staple gun with short thick staples which don't penetrate the plastic base -------DAHIK!
