I am selling my trailer that i used mainly for my bikes.
My reason is i am also selling my car that would tow this trailer.
And i wont be replacing the car as it was my second car.
So the trailer in a unbraked 750kg Indespension 8x4 trailer.
Now i wanted to protect and cover the bike so i made it into a box trailer.
It has a ramp and the roof lifts up to give you head room when loading.
The spare wheel is new and unused and the other tyres are like new.
I built it about 3 years ago as i could not find a bike trailer i liked.
I went for a 8x4 as i needed to get in down the side of the house into the back garden.
This trailer will only take one bike, the hight of the trailer inside is 54 inches.
My Honda Varadero fitted inside as long as i removed the screen.
The box section is made from 15mm phenolic plywood, CCA timber and Polycarbonate for the roof.
The floor is new and double layered. There is a Acebikes Steadystand front wheel choc fitted inside.
There is a box on the front to keep tools and straps in. The rear doors lock and the ramp covers them.
The ramp has a padlock to stop it being opened. The roof is lifted by 2 heavy duty gas struts.
The roof also lock when closed and can only be opened from the inside.
The trailer is also vented to stop condensation on the inside.
There is also a plinth to add under the ramp if you are loading a low motorcycle.

I am after £2000 firm for it as its well built and still like new.

What a superb piece of kit, you really have thought of everything. Alas, I have too many trailers already! GLWTS

I will be sorry to see it go as it is the best trailer i have had. It can do more that just carry a bike in.
Also just for info. The original Indespension 8x4 trailer is a 2019 trailer and it is plated.

All the prop stands are new, the hitch is new, the top lights are new as is the spare wheel and the mudguard.
All lights work as they should and so do the marker lights. the number plate can be popped in and out without undoing anything. The trailer is galvanised from new. But when i rebuilt it like this i cleaned up all the metal and sprayed it with 3ltrs of ZG-90 anti-rust paint before i built the top part. So it is going to last for many years. Also as i said i did not use normal plywood, i used 15mm phenolic plywood which is not cheap to buy and lasts a long time.
The outside is also wrapped in 3D grey carbon like vinyl which does look good.
It did cost me a fair bit more that £2k to make, I was suprised at the cost of a good trailers now when i brought it.
