It's up to £4600 but a new one is only £5995 !!!!
I'm 5'10" & am nowhere near flatfooting the SE. It's an easy bike to handle & only starts to make sense offroad if you open it up a bit. Tyres can be a limiting factor, I'll be fitting a Karoo (not Karoo-T) soon to see how it compares to the 908RR that I've been running for the past 4,000 miles.
Well someone got it for £4700, so about £1300 less than the 'deals'.
FWIW Fowlers claim not to have a SE now, so whether their deals are over or it was just an unhelpful salesman my mate spoke to I dont know.
Def don't fit a Karoo-T, Possu. The SE will destry it. Mine on the GS is coming off today after about 500 miles. Its lots half its tread (mostly Welsh trails) (no, I don't undertsand that wear either) and starting delaminating, ok from being ridden overloaded and too quickly home on the motorway, so my fault I expect.
(alternatively it may just have aged whilst laid up in the garage............)
Hey Possu - I tried the Karoo on the HP and really wasn't very impressed. Didn't feel good on the road, didn't feel particularly special off-road and definitely didn't last long! Just my 0.02p worth.
Now I better get out of this orange place!
Did about 2-3 miles on it and had more fun than in the 400 miles on the gs. I just dont find the front end as striking on it so for me the super enduro is the best choice as I could slap a screen on that easy enough if I ever wanted to do some distance. . R
Got the Karoo for about £48, so it's worth a go at that price. The 908RR is £78.... Only one way to find out. I think my smoother riding style will ensure it lasts longer than they do on your HP2 , hampered by your limited ability....
Well one of us has been lied to??? I spoke to fowlers this morning and they claim to have 3 on the way??
Typical Fowlers, sounds like. Having said that would have no qualms taking a new bike from them if the price was right.
