Just back from a tour with Wildcat. John the guide/owner runs a 990adv and a 950SE with a few mods

mods include

Akros
30l tank
touratech luggage
sumpguard
various heat sheilds
rear luggage rack
center stand
air hawks

I believe the tank was supplied and fitted by JD racing in Plymouth for a reasonable sum.

John rode the bike for 4000 miles two up over various surfaces without a hitch

Just read your write up on wildcats tours looks like you had a good time did you get to venture offroad at all or was it mainly paved roads...

The tour I went on was the road tour so mainly paved roads.

Nice bike.

Got the Airhawk, BlackDog bashplate & made a heat shield myself.
Debating about aftermarket silencers & centre stand?
Thinking about modifying Adventure H&B pannier rails to fit but only to strap soft luggage against.
Also considering the HID H4 conversion?

What price did he pay for the 30 litre Aqualine tank? Core Racing are asking £600, I'd rather fit a 19 litre tank from the 990SM. Some Aqualine tanks seem to swell up after use, making removal & refitting difficult, has he experienced this?
